As we head into the last quarter of the year, we wanted to take a moment to update all of you on some of the Next-Gen CASB’s recent successes. We are thrilled to announce that we will be closing out 2018 with two award wins!

The Golden Bridge Awards

First, we were named a Gold Winner of the Golden Bridge Awards for our work with John Muir Health, a not-for-profit healthcare organization that serves patients in the San Francisco Bay Area. John Muir Health secured its cloud data and even its physicians’ personal mobile devices with our Next-Gen Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB).

More and more, the rise of cloud applications and BYOD is requiring organizations to protect data that has moved beyond the corporate network and, consequently, beyond the reach of traditional security tools like firewalls. In healthcare, ensuring cybersecurity wherever data goes is crucial for reaching regulatory compliance and for delivering high-quality patient care. For this reason, John Muir Health turned to Bitglass.

The Golden Bridge Awards scrutinize entrants from every major industry around the globe each year. They recognize the world’s best innovations, products, services, executives, management teams, and more.

The SINET 16 Innovators and the SINET Showcase in Washington D.C.

Each year, SINET evaluates hundreds of emerging cybersecurity companies from all over the world. However, only the sixteen most innovative and compelling companies are recognized and rewarded. We are pleased to announce that Bitglass is one of the organizations receiving this prestigious honor in 2018.

As a “best-of-class” company that is addressing the most pressing needs in cybersecurity, we were invited to discuss our solution on stage at the annual SINET Showcase in Washington D.C.. Our very own Dean Hickman-Smith, SVP of Worldwide Field Operations, will present to roughly 400 investors, solution providers, buyers, and researchers, detailing the importance of having zero-day data and threat protection for all applications and devices.
