Bitglass Selected as 2018's Top Tech Company

CAMPBELL, CA - July 20, 2018 - Bitglass, the Next-Gen CASB company, today announced that The Wall Street Journal has placed the company number one on its “Top 25 Tech Companies to Watch 2018” list.  The annual list recognizes high-growth startups that are considered emerging leaders in the tech industry and have “attracted the attention of the tech community, and cash from venture-capital investors.”

Bitglass was the sole cloud security solution and the only cloud access security broker (CASB) featured on the list. According to Gartner, “by 2020, 60% of large enterprises will use a CASB to govern cloud services, up from less than 10% today.”*

Deployed across several hundred organizations in every major industry, Bitglass has emerged as the de facto standard for companies that need scalable security that automatically adapts to the rapidly expanding enterprise cloud footprint. The company has seen triple-digit customer and revenue growth every year since its inception in 2013, with a perfect record of customer deployment and industry leading renewal and expansion rates.

“This recognition from the Wall Street Journal is the result of Bitglass' exceptional global growth and the strength of our technology,” said Rich Campagna, CMO at Bitglass. "We are constantly innovating ahead of the competition, delivering new products like our Zero-Day Unmanaged App Security that leverages machine learning to automatically protect new apps. Our must-have capabilities and excellent support staff continue to drive prospects and existing customers to choose Bitglass time and time again."

Bitglass continues to propel the cloud security market forward with a platform that provides zero-day data protection, threat protection, identity management, and deep visibility into enterprises’ cloud applications. Bitglass’ unique, agentless architecture allows organizations to secure any application from any device, ensuring that the platform meets both current and future enterprise cloud security needs.
