Latam Bank Secures Ditgital Transformation with Bitglass SASE

Case Study

Based in Argentina, this regional bank with 10,000 employees needed to modernize its security infrastructure for digital transformation.  The existing architecture secured the network with firewalls and SWG appliances, but with the adoption of SaaS and remote work, both data and users were leaving the building.

In its search for a better solution, the firm looked at several SASE solutions.  In testing the leaders in the category, the firm found that the Bitglass SASE solution integrated CASB, SWG, ZTNA, DLP and threat protection in a single solution.  And the Bitglass SASE fabric with almost 300 points of presence, vastly outperformed the bottlenecks at private cloud appliances deployed by the competition.  The performance advantage was validated by other institutions in Latin America, who had been Bitglass customers for several years.

Furthermore, the Bitglass solution uniquely included an IdP that was perfect for contractors, enabling the bank to sequester directory information for internal users from contractors.   Using patented Zero Trust access control technology, Bitglass was easy to deploy.

With Bitglass in place, the security team enabled secure digital transformation at the bank.  Visibility and control from a single solution. Elastic and high-performance with nothing to deploy.

"Al comparar las soluciones SASE líderes para la transformación digital segura, Bitglass ofreció un rendimiento excepcional."
