The Enterprise Account Executive is a hunter sales role focused on selling the Bitglass solution to new prospects within a defined sales territory. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, a self-starter, detail oriented, process driven and consultative in your sales approach. You should have a consistent track record of success in achieving new customer objectives and revenue targets within an emerging technology/startup environment. In addition you should be comfortable selling a solution and technologies within a SaaS environment to IT contacts at a variety of levels within an organization. Sales responsibilities include territory/pipeline management, opportunity identification, analyzing cloud data security and mobile data security requirements for mid to large enterprise clients, leading demonstrations, presentations and providing rapid response along with the Solutions Engineer to outstanding technical questions to ensure optimal customer support and service in the sales process.


  • Identify and develop new qualified sales opportunities in your defined regional territor
  • Build and manage strong relationships in the mid-enterprise market segment (Accounts from 500-4,999 Employees)
  • Present Bitglass' value proposition, unique differentiators and competitive positioning to new prospects via the web (WebEx)
  • Coordinate and help deliver compelling product demonstration along with the territory Solutions Engineer
  • Report all sales activity, pipeline and forecast to sales management
  • Manage fast but complex sales cycles in team selling environment - Must be strategic!
  • Develop deep and strategic relationships with your customers, partners and prospect accounts

  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
  • Ability to demonstrate an aptitude for technology
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast paced environment
  • 3+ years’ of quota carrying experience selling technologies to mid-large enterprise accounts
  • Proven record of sales success throughout career
  • Willingness to travel ~40%
  • Experience selling SaaS, Mobility and Security a plus
