By Annie Wang | May 6, 2014 at 9:00 AM

Acronyms can mean many different things, and BYOD is no different. Here are a few funny meanings of BYOD that I have encountered.

BYOD Bring Your Own Device – makes the most sense since I am in this space

byod1

BYOD Bring Your Own Drink – should I bring my own ice too or is that provided?

byod2

BYOD: Bring Your Own Disk – do these still exist?

byod3

BYOD: Bring Your Own Drugs – Advil, Tylenol, Motrin  - sure?

byod4

BYOD: Bring Your Own Dessert – c’mon now, dessert too?

byod5

BYOD: Bring Your Own Dice – not a gambler so can’t comment

byod6

BYOD: Bring Your Own Dog – interesting, but why would this even be an option?

byod7

BYOD: Bring Your Own Disaster – a combination of the other things that BYOD stand for – will surely call for a disaster

BYOD isn’t always this fun, but it can be. Learn more about Bitglass here.
