Bitglass just attended RSA 2018, and what a whirlwind of a week it was! It was great to spend time with the team, customers, partners, and potential prospects. This year, Bitglass had a lot going on at the conference - read on to learn all about it.
CASB Cove (Booth #3642)
CASB Cove offered many opportunities for RSA attendees to engage with the Bitglass team. There was a charging station for visitors’ devices, and a demo station to showcase how our Next-Gen CASB can protect data. The booth was packed throughout the show – there were many conversations with C-level decision-makers that were looking for real-time security so that they could protect their data and achieve regulatory compliance while leveraging the cloud. We were also giving away our can’t-miss red Bitglass bags and limited edition “Rock the CASB: Zero-Day Tour” t-shirts.

Akamai & Bitglass ZeroTrust Customer Round Table Lunch
Our joint lunch with Akamai at their offices in San Francisco was a hit – there was a full house. Over lunch, executives from Akamai and Bitglass presented Akamai’s EAA (Enterprise Application Access) and Bitglass’ CASB (cloud access security broker), allowing our guests to see how Akamai and Bitglass are joining forces to secure cloud applications for the enterprise. Additionally, we shared real-world examples of actual customer use cases.

Bitglass participated in multiple speaking sessions during the conference. We presented at our partner Cylance’s booth, at Centrify’s booth, and, of course, at the RSA Briefing Center. Below, Rich Campagna, Bitglass’ CMO, can be seen presenting “CASBs in the Wild,” highlighting Gartner’s four pillars of CASB and offering real-life use cases on how Bitglass meets and exceeds said pillars.

RSA 2018 was a great success for Bitglass – we are looking forward to making our presence even bigger next year. A huge thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth or attended our sessions.
Until next year, San Francisco! #RocktheCASB
